Custom Tabletop Game
Deck of Destiny
A custom-designed tabletop game built as a reusable component across other projects and simulations. Designed for physical play — with a digital adaptation planned for computer and mobile.
Project Status
Overview
Simultaneous Play
All actions are revealed and resolved at the same time. No turn-order advantage — only preparation and prediction win the day.
Strategic Depth
Manage health, energy, and card effects across shifting board states. Every card is a decision: play it, store it, trap with it, or fuel your next move.
Reusable Component
Designed as a modular system that plugs into other projects and simulations — the same ruleset that runs at a table can run inside software.
Physical → Digital
Start on cardstock. End on screen. The game is being developed for physical print-and-play, then ported to desktop and mobile platforms.
The Four Suits
Strike your opponents directly. Spades deal damage and form the offensive backbone of any winning strategy.
Restore lost HP and outlast your enemies. Hearts reward patience and careful resource management.
Generate the fuel for powerful plays. Diamonds unlock upgraded actions and synergize with high-cost combos.
Interrupt, redirect, and frustrate opponent plans. Clubs reward those who read the table and strike at the right moment.
Turn Actions
Each turn, every player chooses exactly one action. All choices are revealed simultaneously and resolved together.
Play a Card
Activate a card's immediate effect — deal damage, restore HP, generate energy, or disrupt an opponent.
Persistent Effect
Place a card for an ongoing effect that lingers across turns, building board presence over time.
Convert to Energy
Sacrifice a card to generate energy — fuel for bigger plays and upgrades later in the game.
Set a Trap
Lay a hidden card face-down to trigger automatically when certain opponent actions are taken.

Development Roadmap
Physical Game Design
Full rulebook, card set design, and print-and-play materials. Playtested with real players to validate mechanics and balance before any digital work begins.
Desktop Digital Version
A faithful computer adaptation of the physical game — local multiplayer, AI opponents, and rules automation. Built as a reusable game engine component.
Mobile Port
A mobile-native version for iOS and Android, optimized for touchscreen play with async multiplayer and push notifications for turn-based sessions.
Simulation Integration
Export the game's core mechanics as a standalone module for use in other projects — agent-based simulations, decision-making experiments, and AI training environments.
